Game Networks – The excitement of the 2024 PMSL SEA Summer is over . The Indonesian team Boom Esports won the championship, and together with its brothers Talon Esports ID advanced to the 2024 Esports World Cup.
Both of them will compete in the competition starting July 19 2024. The match will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The match format applied is slightly different from PMSL, considering that it does not include last chance and super Sunday rounds. So, Boom Esports and Talon Esports ID will start their journey from the group stage.
Here, 24 teams will be divided into three groups, each group containing eight teams. Then, if the Indonesian team finishes in the top 12, they can immediately advance to the main stage on July 26-28 2024.
But if it turns out they are stuck in the bottom 12, they have to fight again in the survival stage on July 23-24 2024. If Boom Esports and Talon Esports ID are able to occupy the top four positions, they will have the right to continue to the main stage.
So, PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024 , which is part of the Esports World Cup 2024, has very big prizes. The team that manages to stay at the top until the tournament ends, not only becomes champion, but also has the right to get the largest share of the total prize of USD 3 million or around Rp. 48.6 billion.
From 2024 PMSL SEA Summer , Boom Esports and Talon Esports ID will be accompanied by D’Xavier (Vietnam), Yoodo Alliance (Malaysia), and Vampire Esports (Thailand). Of the five, only Vampire Esports started its journey on the survival stage. The rest have the privilege of competing in the group stage.
In fact, the PUBG Mobile Indonesia team that is fighting to win tickets for the 2024 Esports World Cup is not only Boom Esports and Talon Esports ID. Because there are four other teams who are trying to get it in the 2024 PMSL SEA Summer grand final.
The four teams in question are Pigmy Team, Alter Ego Ares, RRQ Ryu, and Bigetron Alpha. Unfortunately, their position in the final standings could not fulfill their hopes of appearing in Riyadh.
