Game Networks – Seven young Indonesian esports athletes are ready to make the nation proud in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific Stage 2 tournament. They will compete with the best teams from Asia Pacific to win the title.
Indonesian esports athletes are making the nation proud again! Seven young Indonesian athletes are ready to compete in the prestigious Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific Stage 2 event.
The Valorant Champions Tour Pacific Stage 2 tournament is part of the international league for the Asia Pacific region.
In this international tactical shooting esports competition , Indonesia will compete with countries such as South Korea, Japan, India and the Philippines.
Apart from that, the Indonesian representative will also face teams from Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia for the title of Pacific champion.
Indonesian Esports Athletes Ready to Compete
Currently, Indonesia is ranked 3rd in terms of the largest number of esports athletes competing in Asia Pacific.
Apart from Indonesia, South Korea and Japan also have the largest number of esports athletes competing in this competition.
“Indonesia has many extraordinary esports athletes with talent to be reckoned with on the global stage,” said Resha Pradipta, Country Manager for Riot Games Indonesia & Malaysia in an official statement, Saturday (15/6/2024).
He said, “we are proud and enthusiastic to continue to support the nation’s children to showcase their talents on the world stage, including the seven athletes who will compete in the Valorant Champions Tour Asia Pacific Stage 2 league starting June 15.”
The athletes who will compete come from four international teams, namely Rex Regum Qeon, Global Esports, T1 , and Paper Rex. These athletes are:
- xffero, Monkey, and Lmemore (Rex Regum Qeon, Indonesia)
- blaZek1ng (Global Esports, India)
- xccurate (T1, South Korea)
- f0rsakeN and mindfreak (Paper Rex, Singapore & Malaysia)
Paper Rex itself is an esports team that previously won second place in the 2023 Valorant Champions grand final in Los Angeles.
